Threads saved posts: where they are and how to find one again
Threads makes saving easy and finding hard. There's no search for your saved posts and no folders. Here's where they are and what to do about the ones that matter.
Where saved posts live on Threads
- Go to your profile.
- Tap the two-line menu at the top right.
- Tap Saved.
It's one long list, newest first.
No search, no folders
That's it, unfortunately. You can't search Saved and you can't sort it. If you've saved a lot, finding one post means scrolling and hoping you recognise it.
Finding one today
- Use Threads search with a few words. If it was a popular post, searching the topic or the person's name may get you there faster.
- Go to the profile. If you remember who posted it, their profile is usually a shorter scroll than your saves.
Saving so you can find it later
The fix is the same as for every app: keep the words and add your own.
With SaveSearch you save the post's link with a short note about why. When Threads lets it read the post, the text is kept too, so a word from the post or from your note brings it back. If it can't read the text, it says so and you can paste it in.
From your phone, tap Share on the post, copy the link and paste it at use.savesearch.app. Or, in the iPhone or Android app, tap Share and choose SaveSearch.
